Popilush Founder Honored by Inc. Magazine
Only a select number of women were hononored among Inc. Magazine’s Female Founder 500—and Popilush’s founder, Eve DeMartine, was one of them!
We’re beyond excited and proud to see Eve’s hard work recognized. It’s not easy to gain this kind of notice, with the applicant pool featuring thousands of qualified, talented women. Inc. Magazine took multiple important factors into consideration when narrowing down a broad field of candidates. They took into account the recent accomplishments of founders’ companies, as well as specific leadership qualifications. While we’ve always known that Eve has what it takes—after all, Popilush wouldn’t be here if she didn’t!—the recognition is always appreciated. Especially when it comes from a board made up of other successful businesswomen!
Eve is honored to be named to the list—and knows it’s just the beginning of what’s in store for herself and Popilush in the coming year.

There’s a reason why Inc. Magazine is impressed. Since its inception, Popilush has sold over 2 million units, with particular notice given to our viral designs and innovation. A particularly special highlight is the Bluetag COOLING Collection, incorporating sustainable materials into our fabrics. Not only is this good for the environment—it also quite literally benefits our customers by creating a cooling effect.
Moves like that are what separate a great founder from the rest, turning you into an industry leader. That’s exactly why Eve set out to create shapewear in the first place. She wanted to design products that took a format we’re all familiar with and flipped them into something fresh. Shapewear was once the type of clothing you not only hid underneath layers, but pretended didn’t exist. Popilush has turned shapewear into a staple, creating pieces you can show off and be proud of. Because they’re not about concealing your body. They’re about showcasing the best parts of you!
Racking Up Recognition
While we’re thrilled about Eve being added to the Female Founder 500, it’s not the only award she and Popilush have received since the brand began. Other accolades include the Silver NY Product Design Award for Popilush’s Bluetag COOLING Collection and the Gold Stevie Award for Best Female Entrepreneur in Consumer Products. The Bluetag COOLING Collection was an initiative close to Eve’s heart, and the Stevie award is the type of coveted honor we’ll never forget!
It's thanks to Eve that Popilush now has a presence in New York, where our headquarters are located. New York is the center of the American fashion world, and that’s exactly where we want to be. Turning shapewear into fashion has been a huge part of our mission, because it makes shapewear easier for people like you to incorporate into their everyday lives... while looking on the outside the way you feel on the inside.
